Performance Streaks

📊 How This Works: The De La Salle Benchmark

Rather than measuring win streaks alone, this page measures sustained elite performance — a combination of dominant margins and strong opposition. Every game receives a Game Performance Score:

Game Performance = Average(Team Rating, Opponent Rating) + (Margin / 2)

The threshold is set by De La Salle's 151-game winning streak (1992–2004) — specifically, the minimum Game Performance score recorded during that streak (currently 22.04). A team's performance streak counts every consecutive game where their score meets or exceeds this benchmark. This means even a dominant win against a weak team may not qualify if the combined ratings are too low.

Note: De La Salle appears twice — their historic 1992–2004 streak and a separate ongoing streak since 2004. Unrated opponents use a rating of 0.
