Data Notes: This leaderboard is dynamically generated from McKnight's database of 5M+ historical game records. Due to missing game logs prior to the digital era and varying state rulings on forfeits, some streak lengths may differ slightly from official state or national record books. For example, Charlotte Independence's official streak is 109 games and South Panola's is 89 games. Pre-1960 records are likely incomplete — Sims (Union County, SC) had a 96-game unbeaten streak (1945–1954) and Bedford County Training School (Shelbyville, TN) went 82 games without a loss (1943–1950), but these programs may not be fully represented in our database. 8-man and 9-man streaks are included where data exists.
